Why this exists
The internet doesn't need another exhaustive list of design tools. It needs better lists.
Most resource directories follow the same arc: start with good intentions, accept every submission, never remove anything, and end up graveyards of abandoned projects and broken links.
Disco Moose is the opposite bet — a smaller list where everything earned its place. 446 resources across 20 categories, updated weekly.
How things get in
- 01It has to be useful in real work — not a press release, not a demo that never ships.
- 02It has to stay alive. Dead links and abandoned projects get removed when I find them.
- 03It has to add something. No "me-too" entries that exist to pad a category.
Who runs this
I'm Jason Csizmadi — a product designer at Credit Karma, previously Patreon, Zillow, Fitbit, and Cooper. Twenty-five years of collecting the tools and references I actually reach for; this is that shelf, made public.
No algorithm, no submissions pipeline, no sponsored placements. One person's judgment, for better or worse.
